- TWO INSTALLATION METHODS AND TOOLS NEEDED - The brass bulkhead fitting can be front mounting or back mounting. When installing, a electric drill is needed for drilling a 1-1/16 to 1-1/8 inch diameter holes, and also need a pipe wrench or adjustable wrench.
